Cloudbuster Balloon: 60/40 Helium/Air Mix

Modified on Mon, 23 Dec at 10:48 AM

When a balloon is filled with 60 percent helium and 40 percent air, it is called a 60/40 mix. Filling a Cloudbuster with a 60/40 mix is a great way to reduce your helium costs, unfortunately, the balloon will have a shorter float time.

This can be done by using a special inflator, such as the Conwin 60/40 Helium/Air™ Inflator. Similar equipment from other manufacturers can also be used.

Please Note: The manufacturer of Cloudbuster balloons and the manufacturers of the 60/40 inflators do not know the exact impact of float times when using a 60/40 mix with a Cloudbuster.
