Why are UPC codes printed on foil balloons?

Modified on Fri, 6 Jun at 1:09 PM

Almost all foil balloons that are 18 inches and bigger have a barcode printed on them so retail stores can scan products being received, sold, and maintain inventory. Balloons that are sold in retail packages will include a barcode on the package.

Air-fill balloons can be quite small, which is why some manufacturers do not print UPCs or barcodes on their balloons. However, there are exceptions like Anagrams/CTI's mini air-fill balloons, which are typically made with a barcode.

If you require a barcode on the balloons included in your order, please add a note in the comments section when checking out, and we will double-check if all balloons have a UPC.
